While the official press release snuck out fairly quietly (as far as I can tell), and BizTalk 2009 is now available for download on MSDN. In addition the main BizTalk page has been revamped and now also has all the 2009 information in it.
Microsoft has made substantial investments in BizTalk Server to enhance integration and connectivity solutions that make it easier for customers to efficiently bring together data and personnel within an organization and across organizational boundaries
BizTalk Server 2009 provides enterprise companies opportunities to reduce cost of software integration. Enabling organizations to quickly and cost effectively access and use data from mainframes, databases and line-of-business applications, BizTalk Server manages business activities with interfaces and solutions across domains at a considerably lower total cost of ownership than many other vendors in this space.
Customers already working on BizTalk 2009 include Continental, American Apparel and a number of others.
Whats new in BizTalk 2009?
- Support for the latest platforms (VS2008 SP1, .Net 3.5, Windows Server 2008, Hyper-V Virtualization support and SQL Server 2008)
- Productivity enhancements (ALM & TFS integration)
- ESB Guidance 2.0
- UDDI v3 Registry
- Updated adapters and Host System integration
- New Mobile RFID platform & support for new RFID standards

Full details of feature changes can be found here.
In the next day or so I’ll be putting up some more BizTalk 2009 content here and offering the opportunity for businesses to get an overview of BizTalk 2009.
